This is a combined post, personal and wedding related, therefore there are going to be a lot of pictures. You’ve been warned!
Two weekends ago Erin, Caitlin and I traveled to Rhode Island for Kori and Mike’s wedding while grandma looked after Ella. Kori and Mike are part of Erin’s Chicago crew so, although this was technically a work trip for me, it also gave us a chance to catch up with friends and it gave Erin a chance to get out and paaaarty!!
We started with a rehearsal dinner on Thursday night in Connecticut, followed by breakfast at the Mansfield General Store. One word….AWESOME!!
Friday afternoon we rehearsed at Kay Chapel in Newport and followed that with a sunset sail aboard the Aquidneck. A pretty crappy way to spend a day. Friday night was Erin’s night out with the girls while I looked after Cait, and secretly watched the clock!!
Saturday was the big event. Kori and Mike look perfect together. Judging by the speeches Mike has always been a happy guy however I have never seen somebody smile and laugh and high five quite as much as Mike did on his wedding day. Kori smiled a lot too, even when the limo didn’t show. Mike and Kori, you ROCK! And everybody else that put up with me and my cameras for 3 days, you rock too!
Thanks for having me, I know that you enjoyed your day and am sure that you are going to have a great life together.
Regards,
Simon
