I have had the privilege of traveling to a few weddings this year. Texas, Chicago, Rhode Island and most recently to Karen & Barry’s wonderful wedding in Charlottesville, Virginia. Being new to the United States (I’ll be eligible to vote in the next election!) I have embraced these opportunities to see what the U.S. has to offer, and so far I have not been disappointed.
Karen & Barry could not have chosen a more beautiful venue. Keswick Hall is gorgeous and although we were rained in for the entire day on Saturday spirits were never dampened (could it have been the Laphroaig!) This wedding convinced me that it is not youth that is wasted on the young but weddings! The speeches were wonderful, menu impeccable and wine pairings masterful (just ask Barry!)
Thanks for making me part of your celebration, it was well worth the drive from Philly.
