WOW! We couldn’t have hoped for a better day to celebrate Megan and Mark’s wedding. On the last Saturday of November, and a little over a week since we had 12 inches of snow fall in some places around Philly, the sun broke out and shone down on my last pair of lovebirds for 2008. I do have to say that although it was nice to have the sun, it wasn’t necessary, as Megan was and is a joy to be around. I have had some super relaxed brides this year but I think Megan was the anti-bride. Their ceremony was held outdoors at the Pen Ryn Mansion overlooking the Delaware River. Cocktails were then served in front of roaring fires (well maybe not roaring but it was pretty cozy), followed by dinner and dancing to an awesome band. DJ’s get the job done but I think we all have to admit that a band adds a little magic to any party.
Seeing as this is my last wedding entry for the year I’d like to make a shout out to my old and new friends who helped me out this year. Zach Nestler, thanks for everything but especially for being understanding. I learned a valuable lesson and will forever be sorry that it was at your expense. Josh Behan, we didn’t get to hang out much but thanks for doing a great job with very little direction. I wish you well with everything that you put your heart into and especially with your upcoming wedding. Andy Lees, thanks for the help at short notice. I always enjoy the time that we spend talking and I especially enjoy your free spirit. You da man, and for what it’s worth I miss the beard!! Sylvia Inks was my most recent assistant and second shooter. I particularly enjoyed your go get ‘em attitude. Thanks for the help and I wish you all that you aspire to be.
And last but by no means least, a big shout out to all of my brides, grooms, families and bridal parties…YOU ROCK!!! (especially you Ron!)

The bouquet shot was taken by my assistant Sylvia. NICE!!

Another nice capture by Sylvia, one of my favorites from the day. (above)
