Oops, we did it again! Or…It’s a girl!

No name yet, suggestions are welcome. Names already rejected; Emma, too similar to Ella; Hannah, Montana need I say more; Jessica, I love it but Erin says no; Tessa, Erin loves it but I say no;…we promise to give you reasons if you feel that your favorite was unfairly rejected!

Back to the important details. I wasn’t there for this one. Rinny decided that yesterday would be the day shortly after she woke up.

Quote “I feel different!”, Me “Are we having a baby today?”, Answer “Yes!”

Contractions start 45 minutes later on the R5 (train to center city). Get to hospital by 9:30. Get into a bed and a delivery room by 10:40. Baby X delivered at 10:45. No epi, no tearing…in fact as you can see in the first pic below it doesn’t even look like Rinny broke a sweat. I reckon she has a couple more in her…maybe we can rustle up a little boy!!

Thanks to Marcia and Dad for being there and holding hands. I was 40 minutes late!

She is beautiful, Congrats big Bro and Erin. You must be bursting with pride!! Erin you are the most incredible mommy, (I happen to agree with you Si – think you may have to go round 4!!!!!) Well Done!!!

Cal and Madi are v excited for you guys as are Si and I? (Callum is secretly pleased he’s still the only grandson!!)

Sorry to hear you’re struggling to find a name: Here are some suggestions, Poppy, Piper, Paton, Phoebe (and yes they’re all P’s that I couldn’t choose – for obvious reasons!) Si says Amber, (or Imogen) Cal would probably say Molly (the secret love of his life and the stray cat’s name) and Madi would say Ashlee (her school friend – but he is a boy!) Or you could go traditional and call her Sophie ….

I could rabbit on all day – but I should go – look forward to seeing more piccies of the dot, and send big hugs, kisses and lots of love to Ella, Cait and Erin.

How about Lisa… kinda similar “s” to Jessica and Tessa, and continues the L thing with Ella and Caitlin. The “e” in Becca or Rebecca?

She looks so much like her Dad when he arrived – how about Simone!

I like Abigail ( Father rejoices!) – aren’t we gald we got all this behind us about 3 decades ago!

In any event she’s just beautiful! We can’t wait to see, hold and hug her.
